DALVirtual is a virtual airline community. We collect only information that is reasonably needed to review applications, operate departments, communicate with members, protect the community, and maintain airline systems.

Information we may collect

• Full name, email address, date of birth, Discord username, and application responses.
• Department selection, simulator platform, flight experience, availability, and staff notes related to applications.
• Operational records such as submitted flights, routes, ranks, department assignments, and support requests.
• Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and website activity if analytics, hosting, or security tools collect it.

How information is used

Information may be used to process applications, verify eligibility, communicate with members, manage departments, enforce policies, investigate abuse, improve the website, and protect DALVirtual systems.

DALVirtual does not sell member personal information. Information may be shared internally with staff who need it to perform airline duties.

United States privacy notice

DALVirtual is intended to operate as a United States-based virtual airline community. Privacy expectations may vary by state. Members may contact DALVirtual to request correction or deletion of their information where reasonably possible and where retention is not required for safety, moderation, legal, or operational reasons.

Data retention

Application and member records may be kept for as long as needed to operate DALVirtual, resolve disputes, maintain security, or enforce policies. Inactive accounts or old applications may be removed during routine cleanup.
