Policies

DALVirtual Policy

DALVirtual policies are in place to support safe, organized, and realistic virtual airline operations. They help define expectations for applicants, pilots, staff, and community members.

These policies support operating procedures, protect member information, and create a fair standard for participation. By applying to or participating in DALVirtual, members agree to follow these expectations while representing the airline in the community.

Applicant information

Applicants may be asked to provide a full name, email address, date of birth, Discord username, simulator platform, relevant experience, requested department, and a short explanation of why they want to join DALVirtual.

Applicants must provide accurate information. False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in rejection, removal from a department, or loss of member access.

General conduct

  • Members must treat pilots, staff, applicants, and visitors with respect.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, targeted abuse, or disruptive behavior is not allowed.
  • Members should use appropriate names, profile images, and language in DALVirtual spaces.
  • Staff instructions must be followed when they relate to safety, operations, moderation, or airline procedures.
  • DALVirtual may remove members who damage the community, misuse systems, or represent the airline poorly.

Operational expectations

DALVirtual pilots should fly in a realistic manner, use reasonable aircraft for assigned routes, submit accurate reports where required, and avoid intentionally unrealistic conduct while representing the airline.

Staff and department members should protect internal information, communicate professionally, and use DALVirtual systems only for airline-related work.
